Haha.. Recently I am on a diet to cut down my weight. Actually everything start abt 2.5 weeks ago. I actually had intention to buy a life insurance policy (getting older liao.so very "pa shi"). As I had Hypertension, the insurance company send me for a checkup with a Cardiologist at Geneagle Hospital.
So after doing ECG, a test which show how well your heartbeat is, the doctor actually told me that my condition is not serious and my pressure is normal. Hmm..Thats good I think. But she told me it could be better as I am still young. So my pressure respsonse should be better.
Haha. She then start to help me calculate what should be the maximum weight I can go. She say the maximum should be 80kg for my height and my current weight is 94kg. I think, holy shit...I dunno i put on weight again. The last time i weight myself, I am only 9kg over-weight. Now I am 14kg over-weight.
So the kind doctor start to advise me ways I can explore to cut down my weight. She say other than exercise, I should try to watch my diet.Haha..Ya..I eat too much unhealthy foods.
She said i should cut down on carbohydrate intake. She say each meal try not to take rice, noodle or bread. Anything that got to do with flour is a no no.Haha. She say I can eat vegetable, fish, lean meat, beans, a small portion of fruits. But she say don't just totally eat fruits cos there are sugar in fruits.
So I start to follow what she say and eat only fish and meat. Wahh..You can imagine my first week, My legs feel like jelly and I am constantly feeling hungry. As I am typing now, I also feeling hungry. I only had fish soup0 for dinner. Sigh. But the result quite good. I can cut down by 2kg per week and till now, my weight is 89.7kg. Haha.
I had decide to continue this diet till my weight reach 80kg and then i will start to eat only half a plate of rice each meal to maintain it at around 80kg.
That mean I still got another 2 months to last for the diet. I am wondering if I will die of hunger before I succeed.Haha. Hope not though.
